Cynthia Hall

Cynthia Hall joined the LHSM in December 2013. Prior to that, she served as the Associate Director of the NASA SC Space Grant Consortium. She is also adjunct faculty in the Department of Geology and Environmental Geosciences, where she teaches Environmental Geology and several Science and Math for Teacher courses.

Cynthia received her B.S. in Geology/B.A. in Biology from the College of Charleston. She received an M.A in Geography from the University of California - Los Angles and then worked at NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory for five+ years, where she realized her passion was in science education and outreach. So upon returning to work at the College of Charleston in 2005, she earned a second Masters, M.Ed. in Science and Mathematics.

Her professional interests include integrating science and mathematics with the arts, geology, and space science.
