Things to Know Before Attending the 2019 LRSEF

Dear Parents, Guardians, and Teachers:

I wish to extend my congratulations to all the students chosen to participate in the Lowcountry Regional Science and Engineering Fair (LRSEF). The LRSEF is one of the seven regional science fairs in South Carolina that are affiliated with the Intel International Science and Engineering Fair and the Broadcom Masters Competition.

In an attempt to reduce paper waste and increase efficiency, I am relying on email to contact everyone regarding the logistics. Teachers: if you received this email on behalf of your students, please ensure that your students get this information.

SNACKS & DINNER

I strongly encourage you to pack or send a snack and drink that can be resealed with your child. Unfortunately the concession stands are closed for the season, so there will be no on-site sales of snacks or drinks.

As a reminder, students not participating in the final round of judging will receive a dinner ticket arranged at the College center lobby area. Each school will receive 2 tickets for chaperones. All others may go outside the campus for dinner.

For students participating in the Final Interviews, dinner will be provided at the judges' suite in the college Center following judging.
